Located in the heart of Cincinnati, Ohio, Ribbons of Red was founded on the belief that beautiful design cannot only help our clients, but also help people in need. For every project that flies in the door, a percentage of that profit is given away to charity.
Renee Rist puts out some pretty solid inspiring work. I love the branding section of her portfolio, and love the whole concept of her business (15% goes to charity) ! Go check out Ribbons of Red!

Hyperakt has some sweet print work. I especially like this annual report they did for North Star Fund. Very creative use of diecut. I also dig the illustrations with type and the fact that they carry that our thought the whole report.

How you present your work can often be as important as what you present. What order do you show the work, which work do you show, and how do you lay it out.
Although it’s probably not right for every occasion, ace designer Marius Roosendaal has a very unique and highly visual presentation technique that involved mocking up his work on textured backgrounds. I must admit the end results are stunning and he provides a more details button if you want to see the work a little larger.

Good, clean corporate design is a precious commodity, so it’s refreshing to see a great portfolio of such work. Benek Design are a New Zealand outfit that I came across via one of Niki’s post sources.
The portfolio uses a slightly bizarre sideways scroll that took me a moment to get, and features some really lovely, elegant design solutions. Interspersed between work are client testimonials – a really great way to deliver them.

I’ve been inspired by Emil Kozak since he first surfaced in the design scene back in 2006. He has a unique illustration style and always seems to do amazing things with type. His skate inspired work spans from logo design to illustration to typeface design. Hope you enjoy his work!

Today I was browsing the PSDTUTS Flickr group and found a set of really cool images from an Australian student designer – Davey Coleman.
