A is for Apple

Thought we’d start this off with an easy one!

Last year a friend recommended I move from Windows PC’s to Apple, I was a skeptic!

Then I did it, and the Apple bug hit me!

I bought a Macbook which was joined by an iPhone then added an iMac and have very recently bought an iPad (O.K it’s my wife’s but it’s still in MY house ;) )

Here are some Apple related sites, images etc to keep any Apple fanboy or girl salivating for more!

Interesting reads!

Awesome apps!

These are some of the apps I use on a daily basis and would recommend, of course there are many many others, and I’ve tried to keep it to Utility like software, obviously there are code editors and ftp apps and design software but we’ll leave that for another time, leave a comment if you feel strongly about a particular app!

Great roundup, I’ve been a mac (from linux) convert for about a year now and there are a few apps on this list that I will be giving a try. Cinch is an absolute must, I couldn’t imagine not having that, but I didn’t know about delibar. That looks really useful!

Great selection of read! I’ve been a convert for just over a year. Hesitate at first, but now I wish I made the switch earlier. Dropbox is a must! I use the paid service which gives you 50Gb. That has made it so easy to have files anywhere and across platforms of PC or MAC.

Really nice roundup. I use Skitch all the time and it’s really fantastic of designers as a way to quickly send stuff to clients.

    Once Mac, forever Mac.

I’ve heard people talked like this a lot of times. They said once you own a Mac (MacBook/Pro, or iMac, or Mac) you’ll never go back, which is true. I’ve switched to Mac in 2008, I wasn’t that convinced back then but now I’m a happy Mac user. :)

Once you paid so much money for the same thing you can get 3 times cheaper you better convince yourself it is the best on the world. Triied mac and – no thanx. It is probably good for people that need just few icons that work reliably – but for the power user is is just.. crappy limited thing.

I totally agree with Kause. Its a nice looking thing, with some shiny icons and neat design. But for ppl that actualy know about technology and power users, Mac is indeed an expensive limited garbage. I guess it depends on the level of the user.

It’s not about the money Kause. It’s about something…something that only Mac user can feel…yeah right…you pay much more money for quality not quantity…poor Windows user…the OS still crap with wirus and nothing much more interesting bout it…

Grundsätzlich betrachtet ist das eine gute Sache, ich frag mich aber, ob dies auch dauerhaft brauchbar ist.
