I just don’t get why people like Microsoft after actually using a Mac, I use both and I can’t stand Windows. Even their site is a mess, what a shocker.

I posted a similar article in my blog after Microsoft’s homepage redesign back last year. I also presented a mock-up of simple changes that could have been made to increase its usability while still keeping with the overall look.

They really can do a lot better.

Hmmm.. it’s no real shocker that Microsoft is an engineering-led company (much like Google) whereas Apple is design-led.

I have to agree with Alan – I can’t stand going back into Windows to test against IE browsers.

If MS is a engineering-led company then they are terrible engineers. I have used windows and MS products personally and professionally for 15 years. I’ve be fortunate to have my fingers in most of the betas of past windows. Basic Axiom of Engineering is make sure what worked before works now. Sry that is a fail on MS. I now use an apple personally and made my wife switch to ubuntu.
