The 10 Commandments of Good Design

What is good design? Industrial designer Dieter Rams defines good design in 10 commandments.

As good design cannot be measured in a finite way he set about expressing the ten most important criteria for what he considered was good design. Subsequently they have become known as the ‘Ten commandments’.

I could take ten of my projects, find things I like about them and make ten commandments of good design that fit the bill perfectly. This is a self promotional “look how good i design” piece of propaganda. A bit full of himself it seems. Color me unimpressed.

    Timo,

Wouldn’t it be odd if he had the top 10 Commandments of Good Design and was a horrible designer that didn’t do any of the things mentioned?
