I liked the new design. Made me want to buy OJ every time I saw the box in stores.

About time they did, it was really confusing to be honest, the new packaging.

Who calls in about hating new packaging? Someone who has the time to do that. Just…make your own decision about what I mean there. The new packaging was aimed towards a different generation of consumers. But then again, maybe buying into new age looks is flawed in its own right. Tough call…

I didn’t like the new label anymore than Pepsi’s new soda label either. I think they’re trying to compete in other areas of brand that caters to a different audience.

Brand Packaging Magazine has an interesting ad/article featured on page 40 of last month’s issue regarding glowelle by Nestle. There seems to be a shifting to what is referred to as Beauty Juice.

The new design may be more palatable to a different crowd rather than the type fixed on energy drinks. While I think the old design was great for a more “sporty” look, this one may just look a bit dull up against other brands with bold reds, and yes…the use of gradients and shadows. But if the move is to produce a product more appealing to a different audience, then it’s a good move; if not then it won’t get much attention save for those who prefer the contents rather than the image.

Glowelle’s bottle was created by Vitro and the bottle design by Kenneth Ussenko Productions.

The older tropicana pack was fine. It’s brand recognition was established, why go and drastically change it? So people get confused?… nice idea!
