    Haha! I knew it was a joke after reading the first bit. “Before you pick which web designer to work with make sure they submit some designs for your site upfront. Whatever you do, don’t pay for this work.”

    I also like #8, considering I’ve had countless clients ask me to keep certain content ‘above the fold’, whereas I’m not even entirely sure where the fold begins, or ends.
