Helvetica hates him

I think it’ s stupid to remember that helvetica is overused…
Everyone knows that already…

Redundant and an unnecessary advertising campaign…

Helvetica is like tofu – in its original form it isn’t much, but when prepared properly and mixed with other ingredients it can become something good (or something bad).

For the most part designers that say they hate Helvetica just don’t know what to do with it. The fact that is so ubiquitous does start to grate at times, but you need to hate the bad designers not the typeface.

Of course, some people just try tofu no matter what you mix it with…

I hear where he’s coming from—but I love Helvetica, it’s great in lowercase tightly kerned, such a great font. It will ALWAYS be one of the all time if not the greatest font of all time.

I agree with Alan and skU – Helvetica is one of the most versatile and well designed fonts avaliable – but only if prepared well =) Can’t use it on everything though…
