I am a web designer that works primarily with interfaces for web apps. This means most of my job entails making the cool things the developers make look pretty. Having worked on many different types of web apps I have picked up a couple of habits from the development community that carry nicely over into my design life, making not only my life easier, but also my clients.

Studio 10 1/2 is a london based graphic design firm. I love the boldness of their website which seems to be based on the 960 grid system. They also have some pretty amazing work in their folio as well.

Wolda is the high-profile graphic design award scheme that rewards the best logos and trademarks designed throughout the world. Whilst freelancing at Sony in London, I started developing a typeface based on origami. I wanted to keep the shapes as minimal as possible whilst retaining their legibility. I also wanted it to be visually interesting.
