Origami Type

Graphic Designer Alexander Glenn sent us this link to his Origami inspired typeface.

Whilst freelancing at Sony in London, I started developing a typeface based on origami. I wanted to keep the shapes as minimal as possible whilst retaining their legibility. I also wanted it to be visually interesting.

I enjoy interesting typefaces like this, but I’m a little curious as to why the creator made different “holes” for just the a, e, o and q letters.
