Social Networking with WordPress

Toby sent us a link to a new, WordPress developed social networking site.

Australian V8 Supercar Championship winner Jamie Whincup has an interesting website concept, a simple social networking basis run powered by WordPress. It shows how powerful WP and how it can be used effectively as a CMS.

Nice, I’d like to see more of the code but seen as its a solo project they probably won’t release any of it.

Oh dear, it seems they forgot to secure the plugins directory:

Just out of curiosity, what are some of the more solid user registration/membership plugin’s circulating around now? There’s a few pay ones which seem fairly well developed, although I haven’t had a chance to try any.

    Any experiences?

    Hmm, very cognitive post.
Is this theme good unough for the Digg?
