Microsoft to Rebrand Search…again?

Microsoft will relaunch Windows Live Search under a new brand sometime early next year, says a source within the company. What we don’t know is what that new brand will be, although a few names have been thrown around. According to our source, a “final” decision has been made, but very few people inside of Microsoft are aware of it, and it could change.

Some of the names that have been discussed include Bing, Hook, and Kumo. What do you think?

Big whoop! who cares? With google on the prowl and with how much they’ve already contributed to the search community I don’t understand why MS even wants to compete.

my prediction … search FAIL! (again)

(obviously these are my own personal opinions.)

I think they should have bought Yahoo.

As long as it works they can call it Moogle.

The only thing Microsoft make, that I care about is their mice…

As for software and anything on screen, screw them. =]
