Yes there was a time when Photoshop probably referred to a place to buy photos and Adobe was just a type of brick. Given our reliance on technical tools to get the job done, it’s remarkable looking back at work from a few decades ago.

What’s more it’s surprising how fresh and modern design from the 50s and 70s still looks today. Devkick has a post of great inspirational European design that’s worth browsing through. A reminder that a computer doth not make a designer:

    Design without computers, if only – This takes me back, the days I spent in the dark room on the repro machine. Fingers stinking of bromide.
